Crux™ Help

Weekly and monthly reviews

Your week or month written up, compared with the one before, with one thing to work on.

On every plan, trial included. Plans

Open Review in the sidebar. It shows your last full week, and you can switch to Month or step back and forward. The current week is marked so far.

What is on it

The headline
Your result in one sentence, and how it compares with the period before.
One thing for next week
Picked from your biggest leak, in this order: a playbook rule you broke at least twice that cost money, then the costliest habit, then a setup that lost over three or more trades, then a single day that did most of the damage. If nothing stood out, it says so.
This week against last
Every headline number beside the previous period’s, with the change in green when it moved the right way and red when it didn’t.
Day by day, setups, plan and habits
What made and cost the most, how often you followed your plan, and any habit strong enough to name in that period.

When does the review email arrive?

Every Monday at 8am your time, Crux emails last week’s review, and on the 1st it emails last month’s. A period with no trades sends nothing. To stop them, untick Email me my weekly and monthly review in Settings.

The plan and habits sections appear on the Edge and Elite plans, which include playbooks and habits. The rest of the review is on every plan.

Can I trust the one thing?

Nothing is generated or guessed. If the review says your Opening range break setup lost $310 over four trades, those four trades are on the same page. The figure is an example.

How do I use it?

Read it on Monday before the open. Take the one thing into the week, and if it is a rule you keep breaking, consider making it a risk rule so Crux checks it on every trade and alerts you the day it breaks.

An example headline

“Down $180 on the week, after up $420 the week before.” Under it, every number beside last week’s, and the one thing to work on, such as a rule you broke twice at a cost of $260. The figures are illustrative.

The month review works the same way, a month at a time, and its email arrives on the 1st. The current week or month is marked “so far”, so you can read it mid-week without mistaking it for a finished one.
